Kimberly AndersonMA, LPCC, NCC

My name is Kimberly M. Anderson, MA, LPCC, NCC. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University, a program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado, and a current doctoral candidate in the PhD program in Counselor Education and Supervision at Denver Seminary.

Before becoming a counselor, I served as a pastor and nonprofit organizational leader, working extensively with individuals, groups and communities to foster healing, growth, and transformation. I bring nearly two decades of leadership experience and advanced training in trauma recovery, ADHD support, and resilience-building for women who have experienced childhood trauma and/or narcissistic abuse. I also provide clinical mental health counseling grounded in a biblical perspective for clients seeking a Christian faith-informed approach.

My counseling style is wellness focused, relational, empathetic, multiculturally competent and goal-oriented. I believe the foundation of meaningful progress lies in a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual respect. My aim is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to pursue your goals with clarity and confidence. I am certified in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing and recovery coaching.

Outside of work, I enjoy singing in a local community choir, traveling, reading, and spending time with my two adult children and three grandchildren. My upbringing as a military “latchkey kid” taught me resilience and adaptability—qualities I bring into my work as a counselor.

My passion is helping clients uncover their strengths, navigate challenges, and build lives filled with purpose and meaning. I would be honored to partner with you on your journey toward wellness and growth.
