Teletherapy in Colorado Springs
mental health community
Despite all of the detrimental impact the pandemic has had on our society, one benefit it has served for those in the mental health community is to re-imagine the way therapy is conducted.
While in-person sessions still serve as a beneficial means of connection, we have recently seen that circumstances in life may prevent this from happening at times. With that, those who serve others in a mental health capacity have begun to evolve, realizing that teletherapy can have a positive outcome. Recent studies have shown that for many people, teletherapy can be just as effective in helping with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and others. While the pandemic may have brought it to the forefront, it seems that teletherapy is here to stay.
