Children & Teens Therapy

Kids and teens benefit from therapy too! Therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for kids to express and process their experiences during critical stages of development.

Therapy can help children and teens build coping skills, life skills, self-awareness, and resilience. Early intervention through therapy not only supports kids’ in the here and now, but also lays the foundation for lifelong mental health.

What to Expect

At Project Ember, we use ‘Experiential Therapy’ for children and teens. That means hands-on activities, like play, art, games, or life skills, where kids can express their feelings, work through problems, and learn about themselves in a way that feels natural and engaging.

Our clinicians are also experienced in using Play Therapy with children under 10, creating age-appropriate spaces for healing and growth.

Some teens choose to do a woodworking project outside, while others choose to create a masterpiece in our therapeutic art room. Every child’s therapy journey is unique, and their treatment is guided by their own interest and choices.
