Sarah Palmore

Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am a LPCC at Project Ember! I completed my bachelor’s degree in 2015 at Amherst College where I majored in Psychology and minored in Music. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UCCS in 2024. I’ve had many different roles throughout my professional career, but nothing compares to the fulfillment that I feel when using my gifts to help others navigate this crazy and complex thing called life.

I aim to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for those that feel lost, unseen, or unheard. It is my belief that my clients are the experts on themselves and possess the power to bring about growth, change, and self-acceptance. As your counselor, I am here to be a comforting guide and companion on your unique life journey.

I work with individuals at all points throughout the lifespan, families, as well as couples. I’m particularly passionate about helping clients as they process and heal from trauma, clients that are undergoing major life transitions, and those that are struggling with self-esteem and self-acceptance. Some of my other clinical interests include, but aren’t limited to, intimate partner violence and sexual assault, maternal mental health, and exploring racial identity.

When I’m not counseling, you can find me baking some sweet treats, skiing, watching sci-fi movies, or hanging out with friends!
