Jessica Niles

Hello!  My name is Jessica Niles, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern enrolled at Colorado Christian University. I attended Humboldt State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.  My first career was helping athletes perform to the best of their abilities.  Though those experiences, I learned that the greatest obstacles in life are often mental, emotional, spiritual and relational. I believe we are all made to experience wellness, and I love working with people from diverse cultures.  I am working toward becoming fluent in Spanish.

My counseling approach is trauma-informed and rooted in relationship. It is my goal to truly see, honor and understand my clients. I love working with teens and I am particularly passionate about working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse and people seeking identity restoration from complex trauma to live life to the fullest. I utilize art-based interventions, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, Psychodynamic and CBT.

In my free time, I love to be outside, whether mountain biking, backpacking or just sitting in a hammock reading a great book.
