Hi, I’m Izak (They/Them). I am a Master’s Level Intern currently completing my degree at Capella University, with an anticipated graduation in 2026. I work with adolescents, adults, and groups. I have a particular focus on serving LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those navigating trauma and general mental health concerns. I also facilitate Dungeons & Dragons–based therapy groups, which provide a creative and collaborative space for connection, growth, and skill-building.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered talk therapy and experiential D&D-based group therapy. I believe that while therapy can feel daunting at times, the labor of self-exploration and growth is deeply worthwhile. My goal is to create a space where clients feel empowered, heard, and supported as they engage in their own process at a pace that feels right for them.

Outside of the therapy room, I am many things beyond a clinician. I am an advocate, a queer person, a Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast, and a lover of fantasy audiobooks. I bring my full, grounded self into my work and value authenticity, curiosity, and connection in both life and therapy.
