Hello! My name is Chiara Lin, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of British Columbia in 2021 and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Carolina in 2026.

Before pursuing a career in mental health, I worked as an engineer. Although I enjoyed problem-solving, I discovered that my true passion lies in supporting people through life’s challenges and walking alongside them on their healing journey.

I believe that healing is deeply personal and that there are many pathways toward growth and restoration. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I enjoy incorporating creative and holistic approaches into therapy, including nature, art, music, and play, when they align with a client's needs and goals.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in attachment theory. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic approaches, and play therapy to help clients deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and process difficult experiences. I believe we are inherently relational beings and that healing often happens within the context of safe, supportive relationships. I also view wellness through a holistic lens, recognizing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, emotions, and relationships.

I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. I also enjoy working with children and supporting families as they navigate life's transitions and challenges. I provide bilingual counseling services in English and Spanish, allowing me to support clients in the language in which they feel most comfortable. Whether you are seeking healing from past experiences, navigating a difficult season, or looking to better understand yourself, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
