My name is Delaina, and I am Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UCCS in 2024 and bachelor’s degrees in Sustainability and Sociology from Arizona State University in 2016. I have worked primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults at various capacities since 2016; a horticulture therapy and rites of passage treatment program, independent life skills training for transitional-age youth in foster care, and within school-based behavioral health settings. I also have extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate the foster care system and advocating with clients to get their needs met.
I strive to create a collaborative, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapeutic atmosphere aimed toward helping clients reach alignment in their inner and outer worlds. I use an Integral approach to counseling that considers how various life events contribute to development in all areas of a person’s life. Together, I work alongside you to explore your values, wants, needs, and goals to reach an optimized version of yourself. I see each person’s life as a continual unfolding process and trust in the innate wisdom we each hold towards healing.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, dancing, hosting dinner parties with friends, camping, and going on spontaneous road trips!
