Position Summary
Project Ember Initiative is seeking compassionate and motivated interns, candidates, and licensed professionals looking to expand upon and grow their experience with a diverse population of clients and approaches to counseling. The counselor will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families while contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy services
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other clinicians and staff to support client care
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings as appropriate
- Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and professional guidelines
Qualifications
- Working towards or currently possessing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to ethical, client-centered care
- Willingness to work with clients with trauma, suicidality, anxiety, depression, and other related issues
