Privacy Policy
In times of distress, it’s crucial for victims to find solace in knowing that their stories are held in the utmost confidentiality and trust. The law stands as a guardian, shielding the sacred bond between a client and a psychotherapist. Rest assured, no detail shared within the therapeutic space will ever be disclosed without explicit, written consent.
Billing Disclosure
It’s important to note that any declined checks or debit/credit cards could incur extra charges, as detailed in our Mandatory Disclosure Statement. Our team of therapists is dedicated to providing quality care and can assist you in navigating insurance coverage options. Feel free to reach out to us for further clarification or assistance regarding payment and insurance matters.
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy ensures fairness and efficiency in scheduling appointments. A full session charge will apply for appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time or for failure to attend the appointment. However, we offer a “grace” period for the first late cancel or no-call/no-show, with no fee charged. Exceptions are made for cancellations due to sickness or unsafe weather/road conditions. Kindly notify your therapist as soon as possible if you’re unable to attend your session, allowing others on the cancellation list to be scheduled promptly.

Payment Details
Clients utilizing insurance are responsible for any co-pays incurred at the time of their session. It’s important to note that co-pay amounts can vary based on the type of insurance, yearly deductibles, and other factors, as determined by the insurance company.
Project Ember Initiative does not set these amounts. Additionally, alternative rate options may be available on a case-by-case basis. Please discuss with your therapist for additional details and options.
